Patient Participation Group (PPG)
The practice strives to offer the highest level of patient care, and in order to do so we rely on feedback from our patients. We are currently in the process of transforming our Patient Participation Group (PPG) and we are looking for patients to be involved.
The aim of the PPG is to provide a link for patients to offer feedback, suggestions and constructive comments regarding the services we provide. As a member of the PPG we may ask you about existing areas or we may ask for your thoughts on new initiatives we wish to implement.
We hope that being a member of the PPG will allow you as patients to express your views and influence how the practice is performing & how we can improve. Of course we won’t be able to do everything, but it is important to us that we review and develop the practice with the support of our patients.
The PPG will consist of 2 groups of patients; a virtual group and a committee. Everyone will be part of the virtual group but Committee Members will hold additional responsibilities. Once established, the committee will meet separately and possibly face to face, and the virtual group will be invited to give their views via online surveys (we can also arrange for these to be posted to members who don’t have internet access).
If you would like to be involved, please complete the application form in electronic form below, or you can download a word version of the form with the link in the side panel. If you would like to be a committee member, you will have the opportunity to express your interest on the form. We have over 11,000 patients of all ages and from all walks of life and, it is important to us that our PPG is a fair representation of this. The applications we receive will be collated according to demographic group.
Whilst there is no set deadline, it would be helpful to receive initial applications by the end of November. We would like to set up the virtual group first and will contact potential committee members early next year.
