

Dr Jameson - Change to Working Days
Dr Jess Jameson has reduced her working days - she will continue to work in the practice on a Thursday morning. Dr Jameson will no longer hold a list of registered patients and her current list of patients will be reassigned to Dr Lucy Holloway. Patients will still be able to see Dr Jameson, and Dr Holloway can liaise with her regarding your care if necessary. IT Issue
We are currently experiencing an IT networking issue. This is affecting other practices as well. We have limited ability to deal with patient requests. If your query is not urgent, please wait and submit later on. We will update this page when we have more information.


Practice Closed for Training
The surgery will be closed for staff training on Wednesday 28th January from 1pm. During this time you will be able to submit non-urgent and admin requests online but these will not be viewed until the following day. For urgent medical assistance whilst we are closed, please call 111, or 999 in an emergency. The pharmacy may be also be able to assist with some health matters - click here for more information . The surgery will reopen on Thursday 29th January at 8am.


CQC rates Binscombe as Outstanding for the second time!
Following our inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in October, we were absolutely delighted to receive the report this month, and to hear that we have been rated 'Outstanding' for the second time! Practice Closure for Staff Training

A Farewell Message from Dr Cook
"It is now over 31 years since I started as a young GP at Binscombe in June 1994 – it feels like yesterday. It has been my honour and privilege to work as a family doctor within the wonderful Binscombe community. However, I have now decided to hang up my stethoscope and retire in November 2025 to pursue other interests, including helping at the Farncombe Community Garden .
