Binscombe Medical Trust

The Trust is a vital part of life at Binscombe.  It was established to give support to the Practice when it moved to its current location in 1990.

The Trust continues to support the work of the Practice and helps improve service to patients by:

  • Funding new equipment

  • Improving the environment of the centre

  • Linking with the community Health Council

  • Acting as a voice for patients with whom we can consult

Examples of purchases made by the Trust include the landscaping of our inner courtyard garden, and money towards a defibrillator for the Practice. The Trust has also helped us to make the practice more environmentally friendly with the installation of solar panels on the roof, and to pay for a generator so that we can continue to offer a service for patients when there is a power cut.

The Trust receives income from:

  • Private donations

  • Fund raising activities

  • Sponsored activities

  • Most donations to the Practice are passed on to the Trust

You can support Binscombe Medical Trust by:

  • Making a donation or organising fund raising

  • Supporting activities

  • Offering skills

  • Suggesting projects
