Should I have a PSA test?

There has been a lot in the news about the PSA test as a screening tool to detect early prostate cancer, but there are real controversies about the test, and whether or not it is a good idea to look for prostate cancer in men who have no symptoms. The main problem is that looking for prostate cancer can result in finding a 'cancer' that would sit quietly in the prostate gland for many years and never cause any problems.
