Following extensive safety trials and authorisation by the independent regulator (the MHRA), effective COVID-19 vaccines are now available for free in the UK. The vaccination programme has already started in Surrey Heartlands and we are working hard to reach everyone who is eligible as quickly as vaccine supplies allow.

At the moment these are taking place at a central hub, and not at the surgery. The programme is currently being managed externally but we are responsible for booking our patients into the available appointment slots.
