Need assistance after a fall?

There are times when someone has a fall at home, and although they have not injured themselves, they have trouble getting up. There is now a great Community Falls Responder service that can help people in our area. It saves calling 999, and they will be able to respond much more quickly than an ambulance. They have specialist lifting equipment so that they can help get someone back on their feet quickly, safely and easily.

The service is available 7 days a week, 6am-9pm and you can call 0300 369 0590 to access it. See the leaflet for more details.

Please always call an ambulance if you think the person may have had a significant injury
