Making Sense of Worry

Martin Brunet's new book, Your Worry Makes Sense was published by Jessica Kingsley Publishing on 21st March 2025 and signed copies are now available for sale at the practice at a discounted price of £12.99 (cover price £14.99).
The book covers all aspects of anxiety and burnout, including why anxiety really does make sense and a range of practical ideas for how to manage it. It also includes chapters on health anxiety, the importance of how we breathe and tips on how to get a good night's sleep, as well as the role of therapy and medication. It has been written for a general audience.
There are two display copies to browse in the waiting area and please ask at reception if you would like to buy a copy. It is also available as an ebook and an audiobook (narrated by Martin) if you prefer those formats.
Martin will also be leading a series of Wednesday evening seminars on anxiety and burnout, based on themes from the book, in June and July. These will be held at Guildford Baptist Church, 7-8.30pm for 6 Wednesday evenings from 11th June. The sessions are free to attend but booking is essential and you can book here, either for all 6 sessions as a course, or for individual sessions that interest you.
