Flu Vaccinations 2025

We are in the process of setting up flu clinics for eligible cohorts.

From 1st October we can start offering vaccinations to patients aged 65 and over, as well as those aged 18-64 who are in a clinical risk group.

We are in the process of setting up a flu clinic on Saturday 4th October and will be starting to send invitations out for this next week. We can also offer the vaccination during appointments from 1st October, as long as you are well, so please raise this with the clinician.

Patients who are pregnant, children aged 2 or 3 years on 31st August 2025, as well as children in clinical risk groups aged from 6 months to less than 18 years can be vaccinated earlier and will be invited to book as soon as the vaccines arrive at the surgery; currently we expect this to be towards the end of September.

Housebound patients will be vaccinated early in October.

Please note that the surgery is not administering the covid vaccination. This will be available at the pharmacy from 1st October for eligible patients, however you will need to book this online or by calling 119 - please do not call the pharmacy directly. We are waiting to find out who will be looking after our housebound and care home patients and will update this as soon as we know more.
