Wuhan Coronavirus - Advice for Patients


Symptoms of Covid-19 include a cough, fever or shortness of breath. Please read the following and DO NOT COME TO THE PRACTICE IF.......​

…you have returned from Iran, specific lockdown areas in Northern Italy including Lombardy or Veneto, special care zones

in South Korea or Hubei Province in China since February 19th you must:

• STAY INDOORS & AVOID CLOSE CONTACT WITH PEOPLE

• CALL 111 - Tell them about your travel and symptoms

• FOLLOW THIS ADVICE EVEN IF YOU HAVE NO SYMPTOMS OF THE VIRUS

…you have returned from Northern Italy (defined by a line above, and not including Pisa, Florence & Rimini), Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos or Myanmar since February 19th and you develop symptoms, however mild, you should:

• STAY INDOORS AND AVOID CLOSE CONTACT WITH PEOPLE

• CALL 111 - Tell them about your travel and symptoms

…you have recently returned from other parts of China including Macau, Hong Kong, Thailand, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, areas of the Republic of Korea not identified as special care zones or Malaysia the last 14 days and have a cough, high temperature or shortness of breath (even if it's mild) or been in close contact with someone with confirmed Coronavirus then you should self-isolate at home immediately and call NHS 111

If you contact us by phone, please clearly outline your travel history and symptoms to the receptionist who will arrange appropriate quarantine measures
