Power Outage Expected - Thursday 18th April

We have been advised that work needs to be carried out on local power lines on Thursday 18th April and that the power will be switched off at 9am.

During this time, our generator will power the practice, but when the electricity is switched off the generator takes about 30 seconds to kick in. During this time, our computer and telephone systems will not work and can take a few minutes to come back online.

If you are on the phone to us at the time the power goes off, you may get cut off and will need to call us back. Thank you for your understanding.

This is a local power outage that may also affect some of our patients. You should have been written to already by Scottish & Southern about this; the power is expected to come back on by 16:30.
