Obtaining Medicines Out of Hours

If you run out of your regular repeat medication, or need advice about medication or a minor ailment, please contact your local community pharmacy as they may be able to help you. Even without a prescription a pharmacist may be able to supply you with enough of your medication until the practice is open, and this is often a better option than going to A&E or seeing the out of hours GP in order to obtain a regular prescription.

The details of how to do this can be found here.

While most people will feel this is a helpful move for their care, some would rather not take part in this and you are able to opt out if you wish, Please read this for more details. In order to access this service, patients will need to register for on line access. See our Appointments page for details on how to do this.
