Update re Covid Restrictions from 19th July

Following the announcement to lift Covid restrictions from 19th July, we will continue to ask all patients and visitors to wear a face mask when attending the surgery, unless they are exempt. The wearing of masks helps stop the spread of Covid and we have taken this decision in order to keep everyone safe. Some of our patients are unable to have the vaccine and for those with immunosuppression the vaccine may not be as effective. We also want to keep our staff safe and available for work.

If you have ANY of the following symptoms, you should not attend the surgery –

· Temperature over 37.8 C

· new cough

· loss of taste or smell

· new headache

· new respiratory infection

· head cold

If you have any concerns please phone reception to arrange a discussion with a clinician.

We will continue to offer a range of appointment types including face-to-face GP appointments but many concerns can dealt with over the phone. If this is appropriate we would be grateful if you would book a timed telephone appointment as this helps to keeps the number of people waiting in the surgery to a minimum.

We are very busy at the moment – please remember to allow 3 WORKING days for repeat prescriptions to be processed. We are answering the telephone as quickly as we can but sometimes you may have a short wait and we are grateful for your patience. You can request medical help for non-urgent problems via our website by clicking here.

There are some things we aren’t able to deal with in the practice but we are still receiving a lot of calls and this stops unwell people getting through. Please use the links below if you have any of the queries listed, rather than contacting us:
